How to Get Updated Aadhar Card in Online Mode?
Here is a simple, easy and 3 step process to get Updated Aadhar Card Online:

Step 1 – Visit the Official eAadhar Portal:
In order to get your updated Aadhar card, visit the eAadhar portal by clicking here. If you are having any difficulties with the link, you can also copy the link https://resident.uidai.net.in/check-aadhaar-status and paste it in your web browser.
Step 2 – Fill up the Online Form:
Once you visit the website by clicking the link mentioned above, an online form will be in front of you. You will be asked to fill up the enrolment number and the date and time of enrolment.
The enrolment number and the date and time of enrolment are mentioned on the acknowledgement slip that you must have received when you applied for the updated Aadhar card.

Step 3 – Enter security code and hit the button:
All you need to do now, is to enter the security code that has been mentioned in a rectangular box and hit the button which says “Check Status”.
If your Aadhar card has been updated you will be able to download it in a digital form.

How to get updated Aadhar Card via Offline method?
If you have difficulties in getting Aadhar status through online mode, you can get it with the help of your mobile phone too. Read further to know about how to get updated Aadhar card offline.
Step 1 – Check Status by Sending an SMS:
In order to get your Aadhar card without visiting the website, send an SMS through your registered mobile number. The SMS must be “UID STATUS <14 digit enrolment number>” (e.g. UID STATUS 23232323232323) and should be sent to 51969.
Step 2 – Wait for Confirmation:
After you send this message, you will receive the number of your updated Aadhar if it has been generated. In case it has not been generated, you will not receive the number.
Step 3 – Getting the Updated Aadhar Card:
It may take up to 1-3 months for your updated Aadhar card to be generated. You can wait for the Aadhar Card to be delivered to you via the post or get the eCopy and take a print out.
If in case you do not receive the updated Aadhar card within 3 months, it is advised to re-check the status and visit the enrolment center. If needed, re-apply for the same.
