However, UIDAI has received some complaints. Some people have not received their Aadhar Cards in spite of having applied for it. One possible reason for this might be Aadhar Card Rejected.
Aadhar Card Rejected – First Check Aadhar Status:
If you had applied for your Aadhar Card and not received it yet. Aadhar Card Rejected can be one of the many possible reasons.
The other cases for which you might not have received your Aadhar Card yet might be :
- Aadhar Card Not found.
- Aadhar Card Could not be processed due to technical reasons.
Additionally, if you had applied for your Aadhar Card prior to 1st April 2012 and have not received your Aadhar Card, you may have to reapply.
Some applications which had been submitted before 1st April 2012 were unfortunately misplaced or their captured data has been damaged due to ‘Encryption Error‘.

Aadhar Card Rejected? What To Do Next?
In Case your Aadhar Card Status displays any of the following:
- Aadhar Card Rejected.
- Not Found.
- Can’t be processed due to technical reasons.
You will have to reapply for another Aadhar Card.
However if your Aadhar Card Status shows :
- In Process.
You will have to wait for it a little before you get the hard-copy. You can also opt for the E-Aadhar Option, download and print it. It is acceptable at all places where an Aadhar Card is.
